Important Updates for the 24-25 season

Neck Guard Requirement

Effective August 1, 2024, all youth players must wear neck laceration protection during practices and games. Each player/family is responsible for purchasing a neck guard, as neck guards will not be provided with rental equipment.

Volunteer Obligation

The 2024-2025 season is the final season for the volunteer obligation fee structure. MAYHA will develop a new credit system that allows key volunteer positions to receive credit towards for their player’s registration fees. Watch for information later this year.

Safe Sport Required for Players Born in 2006 or 2007

USAH and the Center for SafeSport require all players born in 2006 or 2007 to complete the Safe Sport course or refreshers. All 2006 and 2007-born players, regardless of when they turn 18, must complete the training to be added to the official roster. Follow this link to complete the training.
