All-Abilities Skate – Jun. 7

Join Glacier Ice Rink and Moving Mountains Therapy Center on Friday, June 7, from 5 to 7 pm, for an all-access community event for individuals who may benefit from a sensory-friendly skating experience or access to adaptive ice equipment. The rink will offer modifications to include decreased noise, a slower pace, a calming corner for breaks, and sleds/walkers for mobility access to the ice. This event will create an enjoyable and inclusive experience for the whole family. A quiet activity and parent tip sheets will also be available. This event is FREE for the whole family.

Please register online prior to the event so that staff and volunteers can better prepare for participants’ needs. Participants are also encouraged to bring a helmet from home that they are comfortable wearing.
