Annual meeting update – board election and new facility plans

The Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association (MAYHA) elected three board members at their annual meeting held Monday, October 21. Current board member Nick Checota, along with Jeremy Keene and Guy Hughes were elected to three-year terms.

Board President Clarence Wildeboer also presented the board’s plans for a new rink facility on the Missoula County Fairgrounds. Wildeboer discussed the steps that have been completed to date and the board’s plan to hire an architect and explore funding options this year so that construction on the new facility can begin in 2021.
