MAYHA board nominations due Sept. 26

The Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association (MAYHA), is the nonprofit organization that operates Glacier Ice Rink and its associated youth and adult hockey programs. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors.

MAYHA will hold its annual meeting at 6:30 pm, Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Wilma. In addition to discussing future rink plans, the Board will elect Directors at the meeting.

Any active MAYHA member may nominate themselves as a board candidate by submitting a nomination petition. The nomination petition must be signed by at least 20 MAYHA members endorsing the candidacy. Per the MAYHA bylaws, an active member is defined as 1) a parent, step-parent, guardian, or other person who pays at least fifty percent of the fee of any child participating in MAYHA’s youth hockey program; (2) any registered participant in an adult hockey program operated by MAYHA; or (3) anyone appointed as a member at the discretion of the Board.

Completed nomination forms should be emailed to Board Secretary Ryan Yearous or dropped off at the rink office by September 26.
