High School Holiday Classic – Dec. 28-30
The Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association hosts the High School Holiday Classic the weekend of December 28-30. The Bruins will face Couer d’Alene, Tri Cities and Jackson in pool play Friday (2 pm) and Saturday (10:30 am and 6:30 pm). Ten teams are participating in the tournament, which starts Friday afternoon and continues through Sunday Click here for the full schedule.
Results
The Tri Cities Jr. Americans captured the tournament with a win over the Bruins in the championship game. The third period ended in a a 2-2 tie and went to a 5-minute overtime period. After no score in that, the players took part in a 5-man shootout, with Tri Cities scoring one goal.
